Instead, they are telling me to take “the official letter,” they emailed me and present it when I arrive in Rwanda. EVERYTHING I am reading says you must have your actual visa in hand upon arrival. I’m too afraid (THis is Africa!) they won’t honor the letter and I’ll be stuck at upon arrival with no visa. UGH…..I’ve asked for a refund and NO RESPONSE FROM IVISA. I leave for Africa in a week and will now have to pay more money to get an evisa through the Rwanda government. I should’ve done that in the first place! I”m so mad! I will never use this service again!!

Wanted a locator form to enter CZ from Belgium, they are trying to charge me CZK 473.52 for it, when on government websites this is free. Shameful in covid times they are taking advantage of people.

They charge for a service that is not required. You don’t need a visa to enter Mexico from Colombia. Nor from the USA to Mexico.

Hey Michelle,

I am surprised by your comment. This is obviously not cool!! I actually love iVisa because they always showed if the visa is free or not.
When I check free visa places, it tells me the visa is free but I can get the health certificate for a fee. Which destination were you looking at? I will send you an email, so we can all help the traveler community!

All the best, Matt

This company is truely despicable! They avoid accountability!

Read the 3% “Trustpilot iVisa” 1 star reviews to understand more about their repeated short comings.

I believe that compensation of $1,713 is owed for unrecoverable expenses due to IVisa lies and gross incompetence!

I hope that David Perez, Sergio Merino, Hector Rosenzvit and Emerson John (the people behind iVisa) all had a great Christmas, because they and their company have completely ruined mine…

They now refuse to take responsibility for leaving me in the lurch, half way round the world in a foreign country.

I am an Australian who applied for an eVisa to Ukraine in plenty of time for the purpose and by no means a rush job at the time.

I found myself sitting in Poland, a victim of iVisa’s incompetence.

My entry had always been 20 December 2019 and departure 2nd January 2020.

After IVisa sitting on a completed application for 2 weeks and not presenting my application to the Ukraine govt visa dept, on Tuesday 17th December, I am given 2 options:

1) Push out my arrival for 15 days (impossible as I go back to Australia on the 3rd January)

2) Get a partial refund (they have 100% stuffed up and not even presented my fully completed application, per their admission, to the Ukraine Visa dept)

It would have been more beneficial to look past the glib website with false promises and deal deal directly with the Ukraine Embassy myself. At least they would have received my application, something IVisa failed to submit!

Since the choice, IVisa has now taken it upon themselves to refund the application money (yet to appear in my account). I will be referring the matter to consumer protection groups in Australia, USA, Canada and the UK. This should not be allowed to happen to another human being and IVisa needs to be bought to account for their untruths and gross negligence.

More background information… (some repetition)

I have done everything asked of me including sending hotels reservations and insurance certificate (3 times)

I have repeatedly been told by chat line operatives that they have all the information required after they have checked out my situation, usually with other IVisa operatives.

I asked why my application wasn’t submitted when ready about 2 weeks before the due date, and was told that they will present it to the Ukraine authorities closer to my actual travel date, as The 31 day visa could affect my entry and departure dates. I pointed out that it wouldn’t and was told that the application would be submitted to the Ukraine visa authority forthwith. All this is in writing and can be checked via the chat lines. In light of the last email received (next paragraph) this is apparently not the case, and I was told an untruth (perhaps to get me of the line and to go away)

The day after the eVisa expected due date, I was told that there is not enough time for the issuance of a visa and to resubmit another date at least 15 days ahead. I have travelled from Australia and waiting in Krakow Poland for the eVisa in order to enter Ukraine.

As required, I had specifically paid plane tickets to and from Ukraine, had confirmed hotel accommodation, dedicated compulsory travel and medical insurance- all necessary in order to get an eVisa, and at considerable financial cost.

The chat line staff that I have engaged with are pleasant, but there seems to be little or no follow through after their repeated assurances To be asked to provide travel details 3 times, when they confirmed receipt after each time ???? (All confirmed in the conversations)

Frustrated and powerless, I was unable to speak with a supervisor or manager or someone with any authority. I even asked if I could pay more for a dedicated person to handle my case. Told that this was not possible (in line with next paragraphs). if you read other low scoring reviews, you will see that this is a common complaint. IMO IVisa is only geared to handle relatively simple easy visa applications that most people could probably handle themselves without too much difficulty.

i phoned their London office. Waited 20 minutes to speak with someone. Call was abruptly cut off with other party in Leeds claiming not the hear me, then hanging up!

Phoned the US office, spoke with someone who said that they couldn’t help. Line went quiet, completely silent. After what seemed like 30 seconds of deadly silence at the other end, I hung up,

I have done everything asked of me, and at times repeatedly, by the IVisa representatives. I have been polite and patient. I have, in turn, been treated like a fool.

I have noticed an IVisa advertisement looking for new commission agents, and they are paid 20% of the processing fee or roughly AUD$12 per application. Perhaps this is why it is impossible to find a responsible representative when really needed??? The emphasis is on volume throughput, not quality customer satisfaction!

I googled the name of an IVisa chat representative and discovered that this person is also engaged as a Philippine call centre worker on her profile.

My frustration has been that I have been unable to talk with a responsible person. I tried phoning the USA and UK numbers. When I finally got through, I suspect that these are also call centre operators. They offered no comfort to my problem and couldn’t forward me to an IVisa manager. They just didn’t seem to care!

The principal owners and operators, (David Perez, Sergio Merino and Hector Rosenzvit) need to conduct a thorough audit of what is really going on at IVisa and see what people are being told. My case would be a perfect starting point where they can see that “the right hand doesn’t seem to know what the left hand is doing” – certainly in my case! E.g I submitted hotel bookings 3 times, and they were still requesting them, told my insurance is inadequate when it is “unlimited “. Etc

As a seperate issue… The original application had a glitch receiving payment, when in fact payments went though 4 times per credit card statement. I was to be credited for 3 payments with one remaining active. Someone about 5 days into the process decided to also cancel this forth one due to an incorrect order number (not my fault) This put the process back about 5 days as I had to resubmit everything again. Still there was enough time to process the eVisa.

The paper trail and chat line trail has the full drama as it played out day by day

As of now, no one at IVisa seems to care enough and tried to contact me to discuss the matter. They have my contact details.
