That’s great news that you’ll be heading to Beijing very soon – it’s an incredible city!

As a 25 year old solo traveller I think you’d have a great time in a hostel. It’s a great option for meeting other travellers! Honestly, I didn’t come across many guesthouses, aside from the one mentioned nearby the Great Wall (Great Wall Fresh). I just don’t think it’s a large market in China and instead they offer big, modern hotels.
