Thanks you so much for your comment and sharing your experience! This is super disappointing obviously! We also run once into a siutation where the attendant required to see an outbound flight for Taiwan – legally, we did not need this. Anyway, she demanded it and would not let get us through. I then simply showed a flight number that might fit – it was not a valid, bought ticket. She wrote it down and that was it.

For travelling to Colombia, a friend of mine simply showed a photoshopped bus ticket to Peru; that was ok as well.
